Colonia Futura expresses from its opening notes an indomitable and vibrant nature. Its vertical and dynamic structure resonates with the first subtle accents of vetiver enveloped in a bright citrus explosion of Calabrian bergamot, lemon and grapefruit, enhanced by the spicy nuances of pink pepper. The vibrant beginning becomes softer in the heart of the fragrance, revealing its aromatic spirit that characterises this Eau de Cologne, in a fantastic duet between the fresh reassuring nuance of lavender and the almost tactile aroma of clary sage. This harmony finds completion in the base with vetiver, providing persistency to the composition. A gift of nature, the essence of vitality.
Colonia Futura comes in the iconic Acqua di Parma bottle, a must-have design object with Art Deco influences. The sophisticated sage green shade of the labels echoes the key ingredient of the Eau de Cologne while the box, characterised by its cylinder shape, is dressed in our signature yellow shade. The coat of arms on the label underlines the long history of the Maison.
Acqua di Parma-Quality, elegance, creativity, and exclusivity – those are the values that Acqua di Parma fragrances have been based on for the past 100 years.
The exclusive niche perfume house of Acqua di Parma was founded in 1916 in the heart of the old Italian city of Parma. It was there, in a little perfume workshop, where some of the best masters of their craft created a modern, light, and fresh fragrance, so unlike the strong and intense German colognes of its time. The first Italian Eau de Cologne was made strictly from natural ingredients and its composition has not changed since.
Acqua di Parma Colonia Eau de Cologne became a symbol of the 1930s and its iconic look provided by an art deco bottle still remains the brand’s trademark to this day. However, it wasn’t until the 2nd half of the 20th century that Acqua di Parma reached international success and became a sought-after and exclusive fragrance house, rising to a veritable cult status among high society.
