A contemporary reinterpretation of our cherished fragrance heritage, presented in a sophisticated Eau de Parfum that exalts the vibrant, golden character of our signature citrus fruits through a refined blend of ylang ylang and patchouli.
A modern and intensified interpretation of the Maison’s first ever fragrance, the iconic Colonia, originally launched in 1916, Colonia Il Profumo draws from the golden radiance of the Italian sun with a refined blend of ylang ylang and patchouli, which enhance and prolong the citrus notes throughout the fragrance.
The top notes feature an exquisite blend of bergamot, grapefruit, blood orange, and petitgrain, delivering an initial burst of fresh, zesty aroma that captivates the senses. At its heart, Colonia Il Profumo blooms with the aromatic allure of rosemary, the volume, intensity and opulence of ylang ylang, and the unique touch of orange leaves absolute. Ylang ylang was specifically chosen for its multi-dimensional notes that sublimates the golden fruits and their presence throughout the whole sillage adding modernity and richness to a timeless icon. The base notes are anchored by the sophisticated depth of vetiver oil and patchouli, giving structure and character to the fragrance. The fragrances yellow hue evokes the warmth of the Italian sun and the zest of citrus fruits, while the bottle features a golden-tinted base for an intense and robust visual experience.
Acqua di Parma-Quality, elegance, creativity, and exclusivity – those are the values that Acqua di Parma fragrances have been based on for the past 100 years.
The exclusive niche perfume house of Acqua di Parma was founded in 1916 in the heart of the old Italian city of Parma. It was there, in a little perfume workshop, where some of the best masters of their craft created a modern, light, and fresh fragrance, so unlike the strong and intense German colognes of its time. The first Italian Eau de Cologne was made strictly from natural ingredients and its composition has not changed since.
Acqua di Parma Colonia Eau de Cologne became a symbol of the 1930s and its iconic look provided by an art deco bottle still remains the brand’s trademark to this day. However, it wasn’t until the 2nd half of the 20th century that Acqua di Parma reached international success and became a sought-after and exclusive fragrance house, rising to a veritable cult status among high society.
